A week of international tennis: the 66th edition of the Trofeo Bonfiglio comes to an end
The 66th edition of the Trofeo Bonfiglio – Italian Junior Championships, one of the most renowned events in international under-18 tennis, has come to a conclusion at the Tennis Club Milano Alberto Bonacossa.
As Main Sponsor, Luigi Verga Orologi was thrilled to support the tournament through the whole event, reaffirming its commitment to an event that has been a benchmark for the next generation of world tennis for over sixty years.
The 2026 edition crowned the German Jamie Mackenzie and the Chinese Xinran Sun, who were the stars of the finals held on Sunday 24 May at the Tennis Club Milano Alberto Bonacossa. These two young talents now join the long list of athletes who have made their mark in Milan before going on to establish themselves on the most important international stages.
Year after year, the Trofeo Bonfiglio continues to stand out as a great spot to check out the talents who will shape the future of international tennis. Being part of this event means supporting not just a competition, but a journey of development that begins long before the big professional stages.
Throughout the week, Luigi Verga Orologi supported the tournament with an active presence within the club, including visibility on the sidelines and initiatives organised in collaboration with the event’s partners. It was an opportunity to experience the atmosphere of the tournament up close and contribute to an environment that supports the development of the sport’s next generation. Alongside the matches on the pitch, the tournament also provided an important opportunity to meet with journalists, partners and guests of the brand, helping to foster a genuine dialogue around the values and passions that drive this event.
Alongside Luigi Verga Orologi, Frédérique Constant also took part in this year’s tournament. The independent Swiss watchmaker, whose slogan ‘Live Your Passion’ reflects the spirit that drives every young athlete’s journey, presented a selection of its most iconic timepieces to the club, further strengthening the bond between fine watchmaking and sport.
Luigi Verga Orologi would like to thank the Tennis Club Milano Alberto Bonacossa, the organisers, the partners involved and all the players who made this edition of the Trofeo Bonfiglio a week of great tennis.
