On Sunday, June 8th, 2025, Tennis Club Milano Alberto Bonacossa hosted the first edition of the Australian Cup, a Pro-Am tournament conceived by Australian, the iconic Italian brand known for its heritage in sportswear. The event was designed to celebrate the values of tennis and strengthen the sense of community, bringing together club members, professionals, and brand partners for a day of sport and shared passion.

As an official partner of Tennis Club Milano Alberto Bonacossa, Luigi Verga Orologi was proud to support the initiative, reaffirming its connection to the world of sport and its commitment to excellence within the Milanese territory.

For the occasion, the club was transformed into the "home of Australian" thanks to immersive staging and visual details curated by the brand. On court, 32 club members competed in a Pro-Am doubles tournament, paired with club coaches and young talents from the competitive teams. Adding to the prestige of the day was the participation of several ATP tour players from the Australian team, who joined the two finalists on court for the final match. The decisive game was officiated by world-renowned chair umpire Carlos Bernardes.

All participants received a custom Australian kit, inspired by the iconic style of the 1990s and designed to pay tribute to the unmistakable aesthetic of Goran Ivanišević, legendary brand ambassador. The set included a t-shirt, shorts, cap, socks, wristband, and exclusive gadgets, all personalized with the official Australian Cup logo.

To conclude the tournament, the winner was awarded an exclusive timepiece by Luigi Verga Orologi. The prize was presented by Valeria Verga, owner of the brand, who commented:
