As of the end of June, Luigi Verga Orologi is an authorised dealer of Frederique Constant, a prestigious Swiss brand, thus expanding its range of watchmaking proposals.

Founded in 1988 by Aletta and Peter Stas, an independent entrepreneurial couple who shared a passion for watchmaking, Frederique Constant is a Swiss manufacture based in Geneva: Since 201 the company has been part of the Japanese Citizen group.
In over thirty years of activity, the brand has distinguished itself on the watchmaking scene by creating multiple and versatile collections equipped with both quartz and mechanical movements. The latter are manufactured in its own atelier in Plan-les-Ouates. To date, 30 manufacture calibres are designed, developed and assembled in-house and power models with complications such as the tourbillon, perpetual calendar, second time zone, flyback chronograph to name but a few.

2023 marks Frederique Constant's 35th anniversary. A significant milestone celebrated with the introduction of three models in the "Classic Tourbillon Manufacture" collection that demonstrate the Maison's high level of watchmaking expertise. A version with a 39 mm rose gold case combined with a grey dial with sun-satin finish, in a limited edition of just 150 pieces, is joined by two proposals in steel with blue and silvered dials. These latter in 350 pieces each.

The sophisticated tourbillon complication, the undisputed star of this exquisite timepiece, which makes one complete rotation in one minute, is positioned at 6 o'clock with its bevelled and polished bridge. Animated by the self-winding FC-980 manufacture calibre, this movement boasts a silicon escapement wheel and anchor for increased protection against magnetic fields.

The 35th anniversary celebration continues with the new "Highlife Worldtimer" model offered in two variants, powered by the self-winding FC-718 calibre and equipped with a "world time" function. This watch, a reinterpretation of the collection born in 2012, features a second time zone display in 24 cities representing the 24 time zones of reference and a date display at 6 o'clock. The new case design with polished bezel, new lugs and new crown, 41 mm in diameter, is crafted in rose gold with a blue dial and limited to 35 pieces. Non-limited series for the steel configuration with a beautiful chocolate-coloured dial.

Different decoration for the display, which for the 'Highlife Worldtimer' depicts the logo of the earth crossed by latitudes and longitudes. The timepieces in the Classic Worldtimer Manufacture line, on the other hand, have a refined blue dial with a sunray finish, adorned by the oceans of the central planisphere with embossed grey continents.

In addition to the Classics Manufacture and Highlife Manufacture collections, Frederique Constant offers a variety of proposals in the Highlife and Classics lines for men's and women's wrists. Both are offered ranging from 3 hand, 3 hand and date, moon phase, chronograph watches, made from steel or precious metal, set with diamonds, equipped with mechanical or quartz movements depending on the collection.
